Common questions about Individual Therapy
What is neuroaffirming therapy?
Neuroaffirming (or neurodiversity-affirming) therapy treats neurodivergence, such as autism and ADHD, as a natural variation rather than something to be fixed. The focus is on self-understanding, accommodations, and reducing shame and masking, instead of pushing you to appear neurotypical.
Do you work with late-diagnosed autistic or ADHD adults?
Yes. We support adults exploring or newly understanding their neurodivergent identity, including those diagnosed later in life, and offer both pre- and post-diagnosis support.
What can individual therapy help with?
Individual therapy can support anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout and masking fatigue, emotional regulation, executive functioning, sensory needs, identity exploration, and life transitions, all adapted to your strengths and goals.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Individual therapy is available both in person and via telehealth for clients across Illinois and Indiana.
